The White House is taking competitions to a new level. It's developing a web-based platform to manage contests that federal agencies launch to further their missions. The idea is to encourage federal workers to come up with good ideas and to encourage federal agencies to find them and use them. The General Services Administration will provide a contract vehicle to allow agencies to procure web services and other technologies to conduct these contests. Article
