Top 10 Fed IT execs to watch in 2010

At the beginning of every year, there are always lists for things to watch and people to pay attention to.

This week, govinfosecurity.com listed the names of the top 10 Federal IT executives that it believes are likely to shape cybersecurity policies in 2010. These are the C-suite luminaries that will be directing IT policy and influencing the name of the game in federal agencies that affect a very wide range of government programs and issues.

They include people you know, such as Federal CIO Vivek Kundra, and those you don't, such as John Streufert, the deputy chief information officer for security at the State Department.

There are change agents like Robert Carey, the Navy's CIO, who chairs the Federal CIO Council's Information Security and Identity Management Committee. And there are others, too, who will be redesigning the way government handles IT to make it robust and protective in 2010.
