SPOTLIGHT: On the road to IPv6
IPv6 has been lying in wait for the last couple of years. But now the Federal CIO Council has issued a road map showing the next steps agencies should be taking to deploy secure, IPv6-enabled network services. The road map says every federal CIO should develop a business case for IPv6 and integrate it into their agency's enterprise architecture. It's been a long time coming, and time is short, but the federal government is hoping to migrate its networks to IPv6 by 2012 when IPv4 runs out of space. Article
