SPOTLIGHT: The public likes federal websites
Federal websites are growing in numbers and depth as the Obama administration works to open up government and make it transparent. And the public likes what it sees. A survey by ForeSee Results, a market research firm, finds that more than 250,000 citizens gave federal websites a 75.2 satisfaction rate out of 100 points in Q4 '09. That's a slight increase from the 73.6 percent ranking for the first and second quarters of 2009. And it's likely to get even higher as more websites are added to the federal library, giving citizens an unprecedented view of what government is doing. Article
