SPOTLIGHT: Port security still delayed

Believe it or not, lack of technology is delaying a $250 million anti-terrorism effort to secure the nation's ports. The culprit is a fingerprint ID card issued to more than 1 million workers. It's a good idea, but the government lacks machines to read these cards. "Most people would say it's real dumb to have security cards that rely so much on technology and yet you fail to provide a reader for the card," said House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Bennie Thompson (D-MS).
