Pentagon to get a handle on cyber warfare

President Obama is expected to sign a classified order in the next few weeks to create a military cybercommand.

It is the first time that the Pentagon will have the power to deal with this issue head on, and it will allow the military to conduct both offensive and defense computer warfare.

This action will run in conjunction with Obama's actions last week, ratcheting up cybersecurity in the administration and announcing the appointment of a cybersecurity coordinator. But it is unclear how far the military will take its cyber orders, and what kind of cyberoperations they will be conducting.
