NSA uses Facebook, too

Even the super-secret National Security Agency is using Facebook to recruit new employees. The Washington Post describes the agency as one "where you're practically strip-searched to get in." Regardless, it's still taking advantage of this new phenomenon.

So far, more than 2,400 Facebook users have proclaimed themselves as "fans," although it's unclear how many of these are real and how many are tongue-in-cheek.

For example, a few months ago, a man accused by a fellow NSA fan of making unspecified threats wrote: "Sorry, the New York Public Library IT staff [prime suspect] seems to have gotten hold of my password to Facebook and virtually everything else in my life," the newspaper reports. Even that post was suspect.

The real question is, whether such a top-drawer federal agency should be using Facebook at all? What do you think? Your comments are welcome.
