GSA announces commodity IT BPAs

The General Services Administration announced Dec. 13 it has made blanket purchase agreements with 43 small businesses for information technology equipment such as tables, laptops and data center equipment.

The BPAs are part of GSA's National Information Technology Commodity Program effort to amalgamate the purchasing power of federal agencies; ordering those items through BPAs rather than through GSA schedules could result in additional savings, GSA says.

Holders of the BPAs should be able to add new products within 24 hours, GSA says.
