SPOTLIGHT: OpenID will make government websites more accessible

In just one more example of open government, the federal government will allow people to log onto government sites using personal accounts or other credentials from various websites, or OpenID. The public will be able to interact with government sites using credentials provided to them by sites such as Yahoo, Google, AOL, VeriSign or PayPal, among others.
