AUDIO: Zients and Kundra say OMB will cut agencies' IT waste

On June 28, Obama administration officials from the Office of Management and Budget held a press briefing to answer questions on new efforts to cut waste in IT. According to OMB, it plans to halt all new financial system modernization projects, review the IT projects at highest risk of failure and improve IT procurement and project management. OMB Deputy Director for Management, Jeffrey Zients, and U.S. Chief Information Officer, Vivek Kundra spoke on the call. Click the player below to listen to the call.
