AUDIO - Vivek Kundra announces review of high-risk agency IT projects

The Office of Management and Budget announced July 28 it will begin reviewing agencies on August 2, to assess high-risk IT projects. The series of meetings with Federal CIO Vivek Kundra will require agency CIOs to demonstrate that project risks can be reduced to reasonable levels. Project that do not meet pre-determined criteria will be required to make drastic changes or discontinued.
