Program to Aid Defense and Intelligence Agencies in Understanding Cyber Security Vulnerabilities of New Internet Protocol

WHAT:

Salient Federal Solutions (Salient), a leading provider of Federal IT and engineering solutions, will participate in World IPv6 Day to draw attention to the need to transition government networks to Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), while highlighting the real security issues and risks associated with the transition. On June 8th, Salient will conduct a "24 hour test flight" by offering its web content over IPv6.

The US Government is now one of the fastest adopters of IPv6. To aid in agencies' secure transition, Salient is releasing free educational videos that summarize real world attack and risk mitigation scenarios based on experience deploying solutions in the Defense, Intelligence and commercial sectors.
