2011 Excellence in Partnership Awards Winners Announced
WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Coalition for Government Procurement (CGP) announced today the winners of the 2011 Excellence in Partnership (EIP) Awards. The winners will be honored during a ceremony at the Crystal Gateway Marriott on October 26th.
The EIP Awards were developed 12 years ago to promote industry and government partnership and to honor the individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the success of the procurement program system while providing best-value to the taxpayer. Winners were chosen in 13 award categories.
Winning government employees and agencies include: The Program Analysis Division of GSA’s Office of Acquisition Management for the Green Excellence Award, GSA’s Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM) for the Myth-Buster of the Year Award, Geraldine Watson and Howard Innis for the Excellence in Partnership Award—GSA, and OMB’s Mathew Blum for the Unsung Hero Award for Procurement Policy Excellence. The Lifetime Achievement Award winner is GSA’s Deputy General Counsel, Lennard Loewentritt.
Winning companies include: CamelBak Products for the Excellence in Partnership Award — MAS Contractor of the Year, 3M and Ecolab for the Green Excellence in Partnership Award, O’Connor Construction Management, Paragon Technology Group, and Catapult Technology for the Contractor Excellence in Partnership Award.
